My theoretical model is psychodynamic which focuses not just on the symptoms, problems and issues which people develop, but also on the underlying thoughts, feelings and conflicts which may be causing or contributing to these problems.

I will work with you to help you get in touch with the real difficulties which, if not properly understood and worked through, may lead to repeating painful experiences, which often make people feel depressed, angry, hopeless and powerless.

I firmly believe that effective counselling is determined by the strength of the therapeutic relationship between the client and the counsellor. Being truly heard, understood and accepted can be a powerful catalyst for change.
